Chamaleon Facade

  • The outer cover of the building changes like the skin of a chameleon. The milky white day view changes into a colored dazzling plain, that welcomes the guests. To reach this effect, the architects inserted vertical colored flourescent tubes into the glass skin, that covers the corner streetwise. Light shows can be realized facing to the outside - acoording to the different melodies inside. When the suspended glass skin changes the color, the colored show stimulates the opaque outer planes and makes them light and lucid. Different moods can be sent from inside. The house can establish contact to the passengers and the visitors with this skin.
